1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 Can Pumpkin
About 10 Slices of a White Bread
about 4 Tablespoons Butter
Directions: Combine the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, and pumpkin in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until thoroughly combined. Place about 1 tablespoon of the butter in a skillet on medium heat. After it has melted generously dunk the bread slices into the egg mixture and place in the skillet. Cook and flip the slices until both sides have browned slightly and have a caramel tint. Repeat this cooking process until you run out of the egg mixture, making sure to add a small amount of butter to the skillet before each batch to keep the bread from sticking.
Serve with maple syrup and whipped cream!
Servings: about 4
