But this semester, I was determined to make it all change.
I'm lazy. I'll admit it! I am the type of person who would rather take 20 or so minutes on the weekend and make our lunches for the entire week instead of preparing them each night before. So that's what I did. And you can too!
Everything pictured here is what I put in our lunches this week.
I slice the apples, put a rubber band around them, and then put them in a baggie. That way they keep from turning brown!
For my frozen dinners I get sectioned tupperware and fill it with veggies, fried rice, and a chicken breast topped with tomato sauce and cheese. I also season the veggies with salt, garlic, and butter. Because plain is boring.
My husband, Bryan, loves peanut butter sandwiches, but I like something with a little more substance. I make 5 sandwiches for him and 5 frozen dinners for myself. Yes, I know I could just buy frozen dinners at the store, but I would rather do it myself and know what I am putting in my mouth. I can't even pronounce half of the ingredients on those boxed dinners!
I cut up the fruit and veggies and put them in plastic baggies. I make extra of these so that we can have healthy grab-n-go snacks throughout the week!
